1. Core Services
Self-paced, TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE that requires no eligibility determination. Technical assistance include: resume preparation, job search assistance, career counseling, skills testing, and career transition. Staff are available and committed to assist you with your job search questions.
2. Intensive
For some ADDITIONAL, ONE-ON-ONE assistance might be required to remove barriers that might be hindering in a successful job search. For some it might be a lack of job skills, for others it might be an issue of physical limitations, while for others it might simply be the need for periodic trouble-shooting to figure out how to get ones "foot in the door". Sometimes CORE services alone are not helping to get a job. Additional skills/training may be necessary to increase the likelihood of increased wages.
3. Training
When it becomes apparent that case management assistance alone is not helping to place you onto your career path, a PLAN will be established with your input to obtain additional skills training designed to increase your ability to become gainfully employed.
This three-tiered approach, along with the required integration of combined services from other training partners in the region, together work to make best usage of all available resources.
